Workshops are convened on a monthly basis to cover a wide range of interests. The Convenors are always open to new ideas from members about subjects, crafts, skills and interests that they want to learn about, develop or practise.
We started in September 2021 with a Poetry session led by local published poet, Meg Peacocke. Subsequently we have been meeting as a monthly Poetry Group. In October we held an Embroidery workshop, and in November a visit to the Observatory at Grassholme was arranged for those interested in the night sky.
Additionally, social events open to all members, and others where indicated, have been organised.
