Meeting once a month on the second Tuesday, usually at 10.00am, with a view to enjoying a social 4-6 mile walk in good company and at a pace that accommodates the slowest walker and provides opportunities to admire the scenery, wildlife, flowers etc.
It is important that walkers are appropriately attired, have waterproofs, a snack/drink and substantial footwear.
It is regretted that no dogs are allowed.
Walks will probably take between two and a half to three hours. Information about the walk is sent out via email approximately a week beforehand.
Please ensure that you have an emergency telephone contact number with you that can be accessed by the walk leader.
Third Age Trust guidance for pre-walk planning recommends that any walkers with underlying health conditions should, for their own safety, consider carefully what medical details to bring with them.
