We met at Judith and Phil’s house, there were 9 of us at this months meeting including Deborah, a new member. We split into 3 groups of 3, Jeanette, Ray and Regina, 1st group, Deborah, Judith and Lillian formed the 2nd, and Phil, Paula and Kate made the 3rd.
Ray won his game with a score of 241, including a 7 letter word of DITHERS making 74 points. Judith won her game with with a score of 249, and Kate won hers with a score of 245 including a 7 letter word of STEAMIER for 61 points. We then stopped for Judith’s refreshments of tea, coffee, chocolate and shortbread biscuits, all homemade and delicious.
We then commenced our second rounds, with the 3 winners, 2nd’s and 3rds playing each other. Ray won his game with 27 letter words, WEASLED for 74 and MASSEUR for 72 points. Kate also had a 7 letter word SQUARING for 84. Regina won hers with game with 207 points, and Phil won his game with 240 points.
