The new Rummikub group is continuing to attract new Members and still has capacity for more if anyone wants to join us. Rummikub is an easy game to learn so we are always happy to take Members who have not played before, by the end of their first afternoon they will be confident to join us again.
For our May meeting we were again hosted by our members in their house near Barnard Castle. As the group grows in number we may use a larger location in the town. Each team can have 2 – 4 people. In May we had 8 Members at the meeting, so we had two teams of 4. Each team had 4 games. Julie and Deborah won 2 games each, this was Deborah’s first time playing so that was brilliant. Mandy, Elizabeth, Edna and Kate won a game each.
Halfway through we had a break and enjoyed a selection of refreshments. This was another enjoyable and relaxed afternoon.
We have plenty of Rummikub game sets so can take on new Members.
If anyone wishes to join us to try out Rummikub then please let Julie or Kate know.
