The days are longer and the roads are drier. Potholes notwithstanding we are enjoying drives and events during a busy season for motoring enthusiasts of all persuasions.
Whilst our focus is on getting out and about we do not hold indoor meetings so do keep an eye on the website and calendar to see what is planned.
Next up we have a drive to the Solway Aviation Museum at Carlisle Airport. The museum is home to over 20 aircraft including the mighty Avro Vulcan and an English Electric Canberra. The trip is on 12th June and will include a refreshment stop at the Nook Farm Shop & Cafe at Slaggyford. If you are interested in joining the trip, which is by car (not minibus), please contact Peter Colley via the website.Later in the year we are looking at a visit to the Craven Motorcycle Museum outside York, and we have plans for several drives, race days and car shows.
