We had an outing this month to the Bowes Museum to see the Vivienne Westwood exhibition. It was very interesting but many of the outfits we deemed unwearable. June 2026 - Needlecraft
The heatwave was over so it was very comfortable continuing with our craft projects, mainly knitting and embroidery this month. One big advantage of crafting is that you are able to chat at the same time. May 2026 - Keep oddments in one place
Due to ill health and holidays we had depleted numbers for our May meeting ( only seven ladies). Whilst knitting and crochet projects were being undertaken many interesting topics were being discussed. Our meeting this month coincided with Easter Monday, but in retirement it is often preferable to stay at home and avoid struggling with bank holiday traffic.
