Our crochet groups have been meeting regularly now, and we’ve been developing our skills with new stitches and discussions on yarn types and how to adapt crochet patterns. A recent popular stitch was the popcorn stitch, incorporated into a flower motif. We crocheted this in a variety of thicknesses of yarn, with pleasing results. We also started looking at things to make with a granny square.
Next time will be corner-to-corner crochet techniques, and shawlettes.
